Testimonials

Ms. Winters has been an invaluable part of my private psychological assessment practice. I used to struggle with the editing process. I dreaded editing, as it took me an inordinate amount of time, and I invariably missed typos. I am thrilled to have found someone I can trust to take care of this process. Ms. Winters is professional, trustworthy, personable, and responsive to feedback. I highly recommend her editing services to anyone who wants to reclaim precious time; you can rest assured your work is in good hands. – Anonymous

I strongly recommend her services. – Anonymous

I am a clinical psychologist in private practice in Massachusetts. I do neuropsychological and developmental evaluations with children, adolescents, and young adults. Editing my work has always been my least favorite step in the testing process, one that I would procrastinate because there was always a phone call to make, a consultation to finish, or a student to explain testing results to. Additionally, as we all know, those little errors are so hard to catch when it’s a report that you have been working intensively on. I had toyed with the idea of working with a copy editor, but those I had reached out to either did not do smaller contracts or had questionable skill sets related to the clinical content of my work. I had given up on that idea and resigned myself to being overworked when Crystal Winters posted that she was looking to start an editing business. As a school psychologist herself, she was familiar with the clinical content and (added bonus) the actual assessments that I used. Her attention to detail has been superb, often noticing little things that would have taken me so many edits to notice. She completes the work quickly, allowing me to get reports out to my families faster. Finally, the added benefit of suggestions in terms of what might work from a school psychology perspective is great. It’s a huge burden off my clinical caseload to be able to outsource the editing. Then, I give it one read-through to make sure the big picture flows, without having to worry about the little things. I can’t recommend this enough! If you’re thinking about it or thinking it might open up time in your business or life, it will! I’m happy I took the leap and I’m sure you will be too. – Dr. Rachel Leary
